So from the sounds of it… I think it’s safe to say Katy Perry and John Mayer are NOT engaged after all. E! News broke the news that the two have called it quits yet again.
Sources told E! that 29-year-old Perry was the one who ended the couples 2 year…ish relationship.
So what is the reasoning behind the break-up?
Although there hasn’t been any other details about what prompted Perry’s decision, we do know that 36-year-old Mayer has not been by the “Dark Horse” singer’s side while she has been in Milan and London.
The pair have become one of Hollywood’s hottest couples. From collaborating on a love song together called “Who You Love,” to gushing over each other during interviews, the two seemed as though they would be in it for the long run.
Katy and John first started dating back in the summer of 2012 but broke things off shortly after. They decided to try the whole relationship thing again just last year where things seemed to be progressing smoothly. Talks of being engaged even circulated when Perry was spotted sporting a ring on that finger after Valentines Day.
