When it comes to taking a breather for a while, Jennifer Lawrence is volunteering as a tribute. According to producer Harvey Weinstein, the 23-year-old will be taking a year long break from her crazy life as an actress, once she is done filming The Hunger Games.
“She’s going to have a long break for a year where she won’t do anything,” Weinstein told the Sun on Sunday. “It’s been non-stop for her and she deserves a rest.”
Weinstein, who produced Lawrence’s award winning Silver Linings Playbook, went on to say, “Jennifer is too nice and will do people favors and agrees to do a movie like ‘American Hustle’ when she could have had a rest. She signed on to do ‘Hunger Games’ when she was young and wouldn’t have realized how much it would dominate her life. But she’s a professional and always will be.”
But who can blame her for wanting to have a little R&R time? Since 2012, the Dior spokesmodel has starred in six films with four more in her near future… including the last installment of The Hunger Games.
So enjoy Jennifer Lawrence while you can, because you may not see her around as often as you’d like.
