Do you believe LeBron James can fly? Well whether you do or not, it looks as though he will be replacing Michael Jordan on the Tunes Squad.
That’s right all you 90’s kids, it has been confirmed that our beloved Space Jam, which became a major blockbuster in 1996, is getting a sequel in which the new reigning king of NBA will join forces with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes.
According to E! News, the master mind behind Space Jam 2 is Charlie Ebersol, who is the son of sports broadcaster Dick Ebersol. And with stars like Charles Barkley, Bill Murray, Larry Bird, Patrick Ewing, and Mugsy Bogues, I’m sure LeBron won’t be the only celebrity making an appearance in the sequel.
Talk of a second Space Jam was first reported by Deadline.com.
Michael Jordan’s Space Jam racked in $230 million worldwide and is still a must see today!
