Jimmy Fallon had girls screaming as he announced a very special guest on the second episode of The Tonight Show last night… teen heartthrob, Harry Styles. And usually, if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, then it must be a duck right? Well in this situation that wasn’t the case!  Even though his hair was perfectly quaffed and his jeans were good and tight per usual, the sounds of young girls hearts breaking filled the air as Kristen Wiig stepped out onto the stage dressed as the One Direction singer.

The Bridesmaid star had the look down to a tee, wearing Styles infamous white T-shirt, paired with a black blazer, layers of necklaces, and point-toe black boots. But as soon as she opened her mouth, her spot on impersonation was blown. Now every directioner knows the 20-year-old hales from England, but Wiig’s version of Styles was purely American.

As Fallon and Wiig sat down together to learn more about the story of Harry Styles life, the two had a hard time fighting back laughs as she made up answers to questions about his favorite food, how he gets his hair so perfectly quaffed, and how One Direction was formed.

“Um…we were at school … and then we sent a tape to RCA,” she stammered. Close.. but not quite. Actually they guys were signed onto Simon Cowell’s record label after coming together on The U.K.’s X Factor.

After signing an autograph for Fallon with “Harry Stiles,” Kristen took the stage to attempt to sing “What Makes You Beautiful.” Even with cue cards and Jimmy singing along, she still couldn’t seem to get in tune with her inner directioner.

You’ve got to check it out for yourself because it’s seriously something you don’t want to miss out on. Don’t forget to comment below letting The Extra Scoop know if you think Kristen Wiig makes a good Harry Styles.
